Privacy policy

This policy covers https://appmaker.us, where we sell licences to our software. It describes what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect when you buy

• Your email address, and your name and company if you give them.
• Your country and VAT number, if you enter them, so we can invoice correctly.
• Your IP address and browser user agent, recorded with the order.
• The order itself: what you bought, when, how much, and which payment method.

We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, PayPal or NOWPayments, who process the card details directly.

What your installed copy sends us

Software you licence from us contacts this site to validate its licence key. Those requests include the licence key, the domain it is installed on, an installation identifier, and the PHP and application versions. We use this only to enforce the domain limit on your licence and to tell your install about updates.

Advertising and analytics

If you accept cookies, we load measurement tags from Meta, Google and TikTok so we can tell which advertising brought you here. If you decline, none of them load and the site works identically. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies.

When you buy, we also send a record of that purchase to Meta from our server, including a hashed form of your email address. Hashing means we send an irreversible fingerprint rather than the address itself. This is used for advertising measurement only.

Email

We email you your licence key, download links and anything you need for support. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking.

How long we keep it

Order and licence records are kept for as long as your licence is valid, and afterwards for as long as tax law requires us to keep records of the sale. Activation logs are kept while the licence is active.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your order record ends the licence tied to it, so we will say so before doing it. Email us and we will answer within 30 days.

Who else sees it

• Our payment providers, to take the payment.
• Our email provider, to deliver your licence.
• Our hosting provider, who stores the data.
• Meta, Google and TikTok, for advertising measurement, and only if you accepted.

We do not sell your data.
