Licence agreement

This is what each tier permits. Where it differs from a marketing page, this page wins.

Every tier

• You receive the complete source code and may modify it freely.
• You may run it for your own business or for a client, on as many production domains as your tier allows.
• Your end users are unlimited. We do not charge per seat, per project or per generation.
• Development installations (localhost, .test domains, private IP addresses) do not count against your domain limit.
• Whatever your users build on your installation belongs to them and to you. It never passes through us.

What no tier permits

• Redistributing the source code, whether sold, given away or published.
• Reselling it as a licence, a template or a starter kit competing with ours.
• Removing or defeating the licence validation, or sharing a key between parties.

Branding

Tiers that include branding removal let you take our name off the product on your own installations. The White Label tier goes further: it is a separate build with our branding absent, and you may present and sell the running product under your own name.

The distinction that matters: White Label lets you sell the service you run as your own. It does not let you sell the source code as your own. Selling access to a builder you host is the point; selling the codebase to other developers is not.

Transfers

A licence may be transferred once, for example when a company is sold, by emailing us the details. It cannot be split across parties.
